"Why should clean water be so complicated?"
Most people still rely on heavy bottled water, bulky installations, or complex purifiers just to enjoy safe drinking water. We believed there had to be a better way.
At Sflux, we started with a simple observation: access to clean water should be effortless.
Instead, many households were struggling with complicated installations, carrying plastic bottles, and frequent maintenance. We set out to redesign this experience from the ground up.
The Problem We Saw
We began by purchasing and testing every major water pitcher on the market.
What we found were common flaws:
Slow natural gravity flow
Most pitchers depended on gravity alone, resulting in slow flow rates (around 0.2 LPM) and leaving stagnant water in the reservoir.
Inconvenient filter

The process often involved shaking the filter in water and rinsing it multiple times before use.
Low-performance filters
Conventional pitchers mostly relied on granular activated carbon and ion-exchange resins, offering only basic taste improvement and chlorine removal.
Unhygienic filter replacement
Users had to reach inside the raw water tank to replace filters, leading to inconvenience and secondary contamination risks.
Mixing of raw and purified water
Poor internal separation often led to cross-contamination, where raw water could mix with purified water during pouring.
